Who is the Waters Group?
The Waters Group is a team of experienced mortgage professionals dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals through personalized guidance, communication, and local expertise.
Why work with a local lending team instead of an online lender?
A local lending team provides personalized support, local market knowledge, and direct access to professionals who understand the communities you are buying in. When questions arise, you have a real team available to help.
What areas do you serve?
We are mainly located in the Triangle area of North Carolina, but we serve clients all over!
Who will I work with during the loan process?
During the loan process you will work with multiple members of our team, a loan officer and at least one member of our dedicated support staff.
Will I have a dedicated Loan Officer?
Yes! If you come to us without a preferred Loan Officer in mind, we assign one from our team to work with you.
Can I contact my Loan Officer outside of normal business hours?
Of course! Our Loan Officers make themselves available anytime a client needs, we understand how stressful the loan process can be and we want to make things as easy as possible.

What if I'm not sure I'm ready to buy yet?
That's perfectly okay! We encourage people to contact us as soon as they are even considering buying, we can help you understand where you stand today and create a plan for future homeownership.
Do you work with first-time homebuyers?
Absolutely! We enjoy helping first-time homebuyers navigate the process with confidence. We'll explain each step, answer any questions, and help you plan for future homeownership.
What if I've been turned down by another lender?
We recognize every situation is unique, so we encourage you to reach out so we can review your circumstances and discuss possible next steps or alternative solutions.

What if I have no clue what I need to know for the loan process?
That is totally fine! We understand that many people don't know what goes into the loan process and that's what we're here for. We will walk you through every step of the process!
If I want to understand the process, are you able to explain everything to me?
Yes! We will explain the whole process and keep you updated throughout; communication is key!
